Prerequisites and Requirements



To use the PostNord Ship Connect Shopify app, a PostNord account is required. However, you can easily create one during the app configuration process in Shopify after installation. This ensures a seamless setup experience and enables you to utilize the app's features right away.


Shopify Plan Requirements



The PostNord Ship Connect app is designed to work with any Shopify plan, ensuring that no matter your subscription level, you can enjoy the benefits of efficient shipping management without needing a special plan.

Please note that Carrier Calculated Shipping (CCS) are required for these features to function properly. Although activation of this feature is free, merchants on a standard Shopify plan will need to switch to annual billing to get it at no extra charge, otherwise it costs $

20/month.

Installing the App



Visit the PostNord Ship Connect app page on the Shopify App Store.
Click on the "Add app" button.
Log in to your Shopify account if prompted.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the app on your Shopify store.

Configuring App Settings



To configure the PostNord Ship Connect app, follow these steps:

API Credentials: Enter your PostNord API credentials to connect your PostNord account to the app. If you don't have an account yet, you can create one during this step.
Shipping Preferences: Adjust your shipping preferences, such as default package sizes, carriers, and service point preferences.
Rate Mapping: Map your Shopify shipping rates to the corresponding PostNord services to ensure accurate rate calculation at checkout.
Printer Settings: Set up your label printer preferences for hassle-free label printing.

Using the PostNord Ship Connect app



Once the PostNord Ship Connect app is installed and configured, you can start creating and managing your shipments directly from your Shopify store.

Creating Shipments



Navigate to the order you wish to ship from your Shopify admin panel.
Click on "More actions" and select "Create shipment with PostNord Ship Connect."
Review the pre-filled shipping details and make any necessary adjustments.
Confirm the shipment details and click "Create shipment."

The app will generate a shipping label and tracking number, which you can print and attach to your package.

Managing Existing Shipments



To manage existing shipments, simply:

Go to the "Apps" section in your Shopify admin panel.
Click on "PostNord Ship Connect."
Select the "Shipments" tab to view all your shipments.
Click on a shipment to view details, reprint labels, or cancel the shipment if necessary.

Mapping Carriers and Rates



To ensure accurate shipping rates at checkout, it's important to map your Shopify rates to the corresponding PostNord services:

In the PostNord Ship Connect app dashboard, navigate to the "Rate Mapping" section.
Select a Shopify rate from the dropdown menu.
Choose the corresponding PostNord service and save your changes.

Repeat this process for each Shopify rate you offer to your customers.

Printing Labels



Printing shipping labels is easy with the PostNord Ship Connect app:

Navigate to the order you wish to ship.
Click on "More actions" and select "Print label with PostNord Ship Connect."
Choose your preferred label format and printer settings.
Click "Print label" to generate and print the shipping label.

Tracking Shipments



To track shipments:

Go to the "Shipments" tab in the PostNord Ship Connect app dashboard.
Click on a shipment to view its details.
Use the tracking number provided to track the shipment's progress on the PostNord website.

Customers will also receive a tracking number via email, allowing them to track their orders independently.
