Installation and setup

  1. After you have purchased our extension, you will receive an email with a download link. You will also receive license information that you need to use to download the extension. Download the extension and save it to your computer.
  2. Log in to your WordPress Administration and click Plugins > Add New, select the downloaded file and click Install
  3. Activate the plugin in the list of installed plugins
  4. You should now get a message at the top of your administration, click there. If you don't see the message, click WooCommerce > SHIPIT Control Panel
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions, when you are done, the installation and setup should be complete
Note! Click on Restrict to zip code if you want to further restrict the zone.
  1. Go to WooCommerce > Shipping
  2. Create a shipping zone and edit it or edit an existing shipping zone
  3. Create a shipping method of type Oktagon/SHIPIT and then click Edit

  4. Fill in the fields and select the carrier and any rules for the shipping method

  5. Click save, repeat from step 7 as many times as you want to create shipping methods in the delivery zones you want them.
  6. Some carriers require that you specify minimum dimensions for the products, to add this go to the product in WooCommerce and edit it. Then under "Product Data" click on "Shipping" and fill in the product dimensions.

Usage


Process an order from the order list
Click on the 'Process' button at the far right of the order list. Read the messages that appear at the top of the screen.

Edit or customize an order
Go to an order, in the SHIPIT box on the right check 'Customize package' then you can change lines, add and remove, then click 'Update' to save.
If you need to change shipping service, weight or anything else, you must do so before clicking the Process button.

Process multiple orders from the order list
Check multiple orders and in the list of Mass Actions select 'Process Delivery', then click 'Apply'.

Print multiple shipping labels as one document
Check multiple orders and in the list of Mass Actions select 'Download Shipping Labels', then click 'Apply'.
